Teen Mom Tuesdays! (Oct 12)

Tonight was the season finale of Teen Mom. Yes, it’s that time of year when we have to say goodbye to our favorite young mommies but don’t fret they will be back next week with an airing of the Dr. Drew reunion special. I am glad for this because I am SOOOO looking forward to how Amber will explain herself to the masses.

It’s time for me to stop stalling and get on with what you all are waiting for the recap and my break down of these beeches!

Amber

First things first lets get to Amber right of the bat. I am more enraged with her than I have been any other week. Even more enraged than the Gary beatdown scandal. This week she has gone TOO far by moving in a guy she barely knows who happens to be a convicted felon newly released. Not only did she move him in but also she lets him borrow her car and basically take over all the responsibilities she is supposed to be doing. You know things like cleaning the house, changing her daughter’s diapers, putting her daughter to bed…the little things(sarcasm). Seriously, what kind of mother does this? I would never move another man in my house let alone a criminal who won’t tell me why he is in jail. GET YOURSELF TOGETHER GIRL. Gary needs to get his child.

Speaking of Gary he finally manned up this episode. He stopped responding to Amber’s bullshit and he stopped going back (for now). He told his best friend “his daughter’s well-being comes before anything else”. It is obvious that he is the better parent. I don’t know why Amber insists he is a horrible father. After his realization he went over to work out a visitation with schedule and this is when he found out that Creepy Walmart dude spends a lot of alone time with his daughter and changes her diapers. He immediately told Amber she better put a stop to it because he’s taking his daughter and then told her she needs to get up with her own kid and stop sleeping in. Then he demanded that Leah (the baby) be bathed and in clean clothes when he gets her. Ummm Amber you can’t even put your child in clean clothes and wash her off. I truly am happy you are being investigated. The whole time Amber is babbling about she can let a guy change her daughters diapers if she wants. Really??? I don’t know why she doesn’t see something wrong with this especially since there’s all this talk about him supposedly being a sex offender. MTV released a statement saying it’s not him but even if it isn’t you just don’t know everyone’s intentions.

Farrah
·Her mom sets her up with her hairstylist son.
·I’m 90% sure this guy is gay. He had like Jonas Bro hair, a v-neck tunic, tight pants and he didn’t even give Farrah his number at first.
·Farrah moved in to her mom’s spare house early and then bitched and got bratty because her mom charged her a prorated amount for the early move in.
·Again when Farrah finally went out with the hair stylist guy my gaydar went off like crazy.

My Thoughts:
I don’t know why Farrah can’t see this guy is interested in the opposite sex. He doesn’t ever act interested he always says he’ll get in contact with her, he gives herthe type of hugs I used to give guys I was trying to brush off. Besides that I don’t know why she feels the need to act extra bratty, it’s getting old. We get you resent your parents and your ex boyfriend died but there is no reason to get snippy with your mom because she charged you prorated rent. That is the real world. Farrah wanted her mom to treat her like a real tenant and then when she got that she’s pissed because that’s supposed to be her family and she feels they shouldn’t charge her for all those fees ya know people in the real world have to pay. Seriously I’m not interested in this anymore.

Maci
·Ryan wants more days in their custody agreement.
·Maci decides to continue living in Nashville despite no longer being involved with Kyle.
·Ryan takes Maci to a mediator.
·Ryan asks if Maci thinks they should get back together.

My Thoughts:
Ryan is such a douche. He doesn’t care one bit about seeing their child and even admitted he wanted more days because his mom wanted them. He treated Maci so horribly and never helped take care of their son and now any agreement they make or chance he has to mess with Maci’s plans he takes it. Then after prying into Maci’s life asking if she was still with Kyle and finding out they had broken up, he asks if they should be together for Bentley’s sake. Maci says no, not if they’re going to be unhappy. Ryan then denies that he thinks about them reuniting even though it’s extremely, painfully obvious he does. Who goes out of their way to find out if their ex is single and then out of their way again to make sure their ex knows they are newly single only somebody thinking about getting back together.

Catelyn
For once Catelyn and Tyler did not annoy me with their overly dependent relationship or their family drama suited COPS. This week they went to see their daughter Carly for the first time since giving her up for adoption. The reunion was so sweet. Carly is a lovely child and looks very much like the two of them. It was great that they got to hold her and spend a few days getting to know her and actually seeing what a real family is like (not their jailbird, drugged out parents).

Their situation is so gut wrenching they truly made the right decision by giving her away and it speaks soo much to their maturity level especially compared to the rest of the people on this show. I really loved the scrapbook they made for Carly so she can know about her birth parents and how much love they have for her. Also the recordable book they gave to her where they took turns reading the story OMG brought tears to my eyes. These two truly are something special and I really hope the best for them. I’m glad they used Carly as a reason to plan their futures and set goals.

That is my update for now. Check back next week for the dish on the reunion special.

Teen Mom Tuesdays! (Oct 5)

Well it's Tuesday and we all know that's my favorite day of the week. Teen mom just concluded and it's time for my weekly wrap up. I would give a recap of the episode but if you watched or you have seen an episode before it was basically the same old same old in regards to Catelyn, Amber, and Farrah. Catelyn whined about missing Carly, Farrah cried, and Amber as usual acted like a bitch toward Gary and ignored her child. Geeze typing this makes me feel like a broken record.

I kind of love writing the bullets so I’m going back to this format, it makes me feel all happy inside.

Amber

· Amber calls Gary up to apolgize for the beat down
· Amber tells Gary it’s over (for the 1000th time) she met a new guy at Walmart
· Gary buys Amber flowers to possibly win her back.
· Amber says I don’t give a crap about no flowers I still don’t want you.
· Leah cries as usual when she sees her daddy walk out the door.

My Thoughts: Amber’s apology was anything but sincere. She definitely fits all the criteria for a domestic abuser. Basically she blamed her getting violent on Gary because he annoyed her and made her snap. After that fake apology when Gary was at the store buying flowers for Amber she called and bitched him out because he wasn’t home to watch their daughter so she could go on a date with her Wally World guy. I really don’t know what it is about Walmart and small towns but apparently you can get more hits here than e harmony. Do ya’ll remember when Gary found his girl while perusing the diaper aisle at Wally World earlier this season? My piece of advice is shop at TARGET unless of course you go for the mullet, fat slob, ex convict, baby mama or daddy drama type.

Speaking of convicts and Wally World, Ambers date should be in the dictionary next to the word CREEPER. Honestly he was laying it on their kind of thick saying how he loved that she was a mother and found that attractive. Either this guy needs to get laid badly or he is a pedophile. I don’t know but if I was Amber I wouldn’t let this ex convict dude around me or my child.

Maci
· Maci is very very bored.
· Maci wants Kyle to spend time with her because she is bored.
· Kyle breaks up with Maci.

My Thoughts: I didn’t see this one coming, at least not yet. I figured Kyle and Maci would be around for a little while longer considering they were in US Weekly a couple weeks ago and Maci was saying how things were going great and she thought he was the one. I guess it was all a show so we would be surprised when the episode aired? Who knows? I don’t like it at all because I want the best for Maci she’s such a good mom and seems like a sweet girl. The way Kyle ended things were ridiculous. She moved to be closer to him and then when she gets there he says he’s too tired to hang out and a boatload of other excuses and then something about he doesn’t like that she’s “in my pocket” I guess meaning she’s so close now. He also told her she needs a hobby. Kyle wasn’t even cute anyway so no tears shed here. Maci is strong and she will definitely bounce back. He was not the one for you!

Farrah
· Farrah goes to therapy session with her mom
· She meets Kassi to discuss the paternity results
· She attempts to read Sophia a letter again.
· Paternity results means she will get $230 a month for Sophia

My thoughts: Farrah’s mom is super annoying. We all understand you did not like her baby daddy but Farrah is sad that he passed and you should be consoling her instead of telling her all the reasons he was a scumbag. Even the therapist pointed this out. I really think Farrah’s mom pops some type of pills. She seems like the desperate housewife type who drinks wine and pops pills while her husband is away on business. No wonder why the other daughter got her own place. I also like the Farrah tries to be a good mother even though she may make some stupid mistakes sometimes (leaving your child unattended in sinks, on the bed, on the couch). At the end of the episode she brought Sophia to a park that her and Sophia’s father used to go to and she read Sophia a letter she wrote. Obviously Sophia didn’t care to here it and Farrah kept trying to read it just like she did on her first birthday haha. So cute though!

Catelyn
· Her and Tyler receive news that they can visit Carly (daughter they gave up for adoption)
· Nothing else really happens

My Thoughts: I don’t like this open adoption business. It seems like it would cause more grief than giving up a child. It obviously is a hard thing to give up your child but getting occasional phone calls, pictures, and visits would make me crazy. That being said Catelyn’s mom as usual acts like a bitch because she thinks she should have been consulted in regards to the adoption. The only nice thing she did was buy a little outfit for Carly. The rest of the episode Tyler and Catelyn spent making a scrapbook so nothing entertaining there. Again I wish they would go on cops or intervention and get their mom/Tyler’s step mom some help.

Be sure to check back next week for the last Teen Mom Tuesday. The season finale is sadly approaching. But have no fear I'll still be hear with lots of ish talking, tidbits of common sense, and recaps of the new season of 16 & Pregnant.

Teen Mom Update

I have a big update on my Teen Mom Tuesday post for yall!

If you read my recap or watched the show you know that Amber flipped her ish on a whole new level and Gary threatened to call CPS on her before he was beat down. Anyway America has spoken and concerned viewers made calls and sent emails to the victim rights advocate in her hometown which has led to a police and CPS investigation. After a visit to the couples home (since we know Gary took her back) the police could not get in touch with the couple because they were out of the state.

If these facts are true I pray that Amber can finally get the help she needs and that baby Leah can be raised in a safe environment away from all the drama and violence.

Curious about the articles? You can read them here and here.

Teen Mom Tuesdays!

I’m back with another Teen Mom Tuesday Post! You know the post where I share my thoughts, frustrations, and a small recap on the train wreck you just can’t stop watching.

This week was no different than any week it contained all the usual events. Farrah cries and thus makes “the ugly cry face”, Caityln and Tyler were joined at the hip, Amber berated Gary, abused him, and was a flat out awful mother, and Maci was mature and smart like always. The only thing out of the ordinary was the domestic violence PSA MTV aired after the Amber/Gary fight. You HEAR that Amber? You are so batshit crazy that this episode had to have not one but TWO domestic violence PSA’s. Not to mention how MTV has a special tape of Amber and Gary talking about the abuse and a domestic violence counselor interpreting Amber’s behavior during it. Sigh…please get help.

I started writing paragraphs with my thoughts but then I realized Amber drama takes up much of my posts that writing whole paragraphs is pretty daunting. So for this week I’m just going to do bullets especially because I’m late with this update since Little Man decided to wake up for a bit.

Caitlyn:
· Her and Tyler find out they are not graduating a week before graduation is set to take place.
· They both want to go to college so they go see the guidance counselor together. Tyler wants to be a paramedic…a psychiatrist…or join the airforce. Caityln wants to be an ultrasound tech.
· Caitlyn’s mom berates her for giving away the baby as usual and having C’s and D’s…she proceeds to hang the awful report card on the fridge.

My thoughts:
I honestly think these two need to get away from each other. They need to have some space and live their lives separately. They don’t need to be connected at the hip it isn’t healthy and they do not have to worry about being parents so they should go out be teenagers and focus on their grades since obviously that’s they aren’t doing that. I also found it very strange that a guidance counselor would let them have a joint appointment to talk about their future. Very, very, very weird. These two are too codependent. I don’t like it and I don’t think it’s cute like some people do. It seems unhealthy to me. Also why did Tyler miss soo much school while Caitlyn was pregnant he wasn’t pregnant he could have taken his skinny butt to class and made up the credits he missed. Also why did they miss school after the baby…the reason why they gave up the child was so she could have a better life and they could finish school and have a better life too, yet they don’t go to school. I really don’t understand this.

Farrah:
· Finally gets the DNA test and Derek (her deceased ex bf) is proved to be the father.
· She has a meeting/playdate w/ her ex bf’s sister and their daughters. Kassy (the ex bf’s sister) has made a scrapbook to show Sophia what her dad was like.
· Farrah gets a job as waitress for more money it doesn’t have anything to do with anything but I felt her shorts were a little too small to be working at a place that was not hooters.

My Thoughts:
I really feel for this girl. At first I thought she was a spoiled, bratty bitch, and while I still stand by that in away I think her mom is freaking crazy and that’s her problem. If you watched 16 and Pregnant, Farrah’s mom forbid her to talk to her ex boyfriend, deny her pregnancy to him, and change her phone number. Farrah listened to her mom and her ex boyfriend unexpectedly died, so now I think Farrah is just acting out her resentments toward her mother. That’s why she’s so disrespectful now and never listens.

Maci:
· She goes back to her hometown to visit friends and let Ryan see Bentley.
· Her and Ryan decide to be mature adults and come up with a custody agreement on their own.
My Thoughts: It seems like Maci still has feelings for Ryan…I hope she never acts on them.

Amber:
· Amber does not put crib sheets on her daughters crib. She uses the crib as a laundry basket and toy box but still lays the child in the crib.
· Gary’s mom comes over to bring crib sheets because Gary has informed her the baby has no sheets.
· Amber flips out on Gary and says you made me seem like a bad mother…she does not put the crib sheets on the mattress.
· Gary tells Amber she is an unfit mother and he is going to report her to CPS. Amber denies being unfit and after a lot of name calling on Amber’s part Gary takes the baby and leaves.
· Gary comes back sans baby to talk to Amber or get back with her. He is greeted to all his stuff on the stairs outside the apartment.
· Amber calls him fat, ugly, stupid, random f bombs etc and then punches him in the face numerous times and tries to break his shit. Gary just stands there and takes it.
· Amber threatens Gary’s life and then tells him to “watch is back”
· Amber’s best friend/cousin is convinced she is not an unfit mother and there is no evidence to prove she is.

My Thoughts: I am finally glad someone saw that CPS needed to be called on this girl. There is no way she should ever ever be allowed to be around a child. All the violence and cursing is ridiculous. Obviously her anger management classes, anti anxiety pills, anti depressants, and therapy are not working. Gary really needs to take the daughter and leave but…he goes back. Also why does Gary’s mom always take in the baby but never Gary? I find that totally weird. He always has to find another house to squat at. And Amber just because you know self defense moves now does NOT give you the right to use them at a whim. Lastly Amber’s cousin is dumb or she doesn’t watch tv because I’m pretty sure if Gary sent in these MTV tapes CPS would be on this case ASAP.

Be sure to tune in again next week for more crazy dramz honestly right now it's late and I don't remember the previews but Amber will probably beat Gary, Caitlyn and Tyler will be codependent, Farrah will cry, and of course Maci will be mature. I'm just waiting for my Dr. Drew Reunion Special!

Teen Mom Tuesdays!

Sometimes I stay up late because only then do I truly have alone time. When everyone is sleep I have peace. I can just relax and veg out on the couch by myself. No baby, no M just me and sometimes that's just great.

In other news today...well I guess yesterday now, was Tuesday and that is my favorite day of the week! Why you ask? Well, Teen Mom comes on of course and I love me some Teen Mom. I was pregnant when these girls were pregnant and I watched them along their 9 month journey and now I watch as they make complete fools of themselves (mainly Amber & Catelynns relatives). I especially love watching it with one of my best friends because we make witty remarks about everything (witty to us I guess) and have a big tweet fest!

This season has me wanting to call DCF on Amber ASAP! I don't like to talk about peoples parenting styles but come on this girl is physically violent with her on again off again baby daddy, dropping F bombs like it's nothing and when the daddy tells her not to do this in front of the child she says "Well YOU MAKE ME DO IT". Gary (the daddy) is a gross looking slob but also seems like a battered woman. He keeps telling himself Amber loves him, she'll change and they have to stay together for the child but no wo(MAN) should be beat on a weekly basis. And with Amber's new found karate moves which, I'm still wondering how she can afford she's beats the SHIT out of him. So since he took their daughter and I left I suggest he run to the court and file for sole custody ASAP.

Farrah...Farrah I don't know what to say about her. I feel sorry for her and that her baby daddy died tragically but you should have got all these paternity issues straightened out while you were pregnant and he was alive. I mean you can't forsee anyone dying but if you know his family hates your guts I would have made damn sure this dude admitted to being the father or at least admitted to sleeping with me. Since she facebooked his sister and asked her to take the DNA test (she never showed up btw) she could have facebooked the dude when he was alive and been like hey I'm pregnant and then she would at least had some sort of evidence depending on his response. Now she has two options in my opinion:
1) Go on Maury
2) Get on your detective tip and follow his family members around. Hopefully they discard a used cup, a cigarette butt, a piece of gum, maybe a half eaten apple. Watch Forensic Files this method works.
Oh, and isn't it hella strange that they don't want a relationship with their (alleged) grandchild since it would kind of be a tie to their son. I mean I've seen the pics of the supposed father and the baby is like his spitting image.

Next is Catelynn and her family. I don't think they should be on Teen Mom. They gave their baby up for adoption wich is very admirable especially considering their circumstances but come on this whole storyline is really suited for an episode of COPS.

Lastly Maci. I love her. I don't really have anything bad to say she's an excellent mom. Her new guy isn't a looker but at least he isn't a douche.

Now as Teen Mom starts to wind down we have been blessed with a new season of 16 & Pregnant premiering on October 26. I have lots of opinions on that with the little teaser they showed. You'll have to stay tuned!
