In an effort to not totally let myself go, I’ve decided to devote at least one day a week to sprucing myself up. This means makeup done, hair did, and absolutely no yoga pants or sweats. I’m titling this little experiment “Feelin’ Pretty Friday”.
This week I’m feelin’ pretty in lipstick! I have been obsessed with makeup forever but have never been a big lipstick wearer. I pretty much swore by Carmex and lipgloss until an afternoon spent browsing in Target. I picked up the new Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipsticks. The cool packaging and vibrant colors definitely lured me in…I’m a sucker. But let me just say I’m so glad I got them. Wearing lipstick is like an instant confidence booster. I had the same feeling you get when you slip on a pair of lace undies. With my lipstick on, even the most mundane things like sitting around at playgroup have me feeling like a sexy lady instead of a frumpy mama.
I’m also excited because I found the perfect nude! South Beach Sand it’s perfect. I love these they are moisturizing, long lasting, and vibrant. Not to mention I had on the heavenly pink shade and it drove M crazy while I was in NC. He thought I was trying to be sexy for some new man LOL.
